Forest Park (New! 3/4)

From Lambert International (STL): I-70E to I-170S to I-64E (AKA 40) to McCausland North. Go under Interstate and through the major intersection at Clayton Rd. Make the next right (Wells Dr.) into the park. Follow to meet site. Park on the south side of the street.

From anywhere else: Get to I-64 (AKA 40) and head towards the city. Near the west edge of the city, take the McCausland North exit and follow instructions from above.

Official Meet Motel

Super 8 in Farmington, MO
Attendees of previous St. Louis A-meets at Hawn probably already know this one. Clean, no frills, friendly staff, decent price. Ask for SLOC Rate to get 2 beds for 2 people for $59.95 per night. Extra $5 per person if you want to cram all your friends into one room.

From Forest Park: It's strongly recommended that you find somewhere to eat in the vicinity of Forest Park before heading to Farmington. Leaving the city to the south in the late afternoon is not fun, even by East Coast standards. The U-City Loop just NE of the park, Central West End, immediately west of the park, and South Grand, a few miles to the SW all offer dining for every taste and budget.

Having allowed the roads to clear a bit. Take I-64E (AKA 40) to South Grand about a mile to I-44E to I-55S. Take exit 174B to get on US-67S. There are earlier exits for 67; make sure you're taking this one to go to Farmington. Take the US-32E exit (left lane exit) for Farmington and then a right at the first stoplight into the plaza with the Motel.

Hawn

From Farmington: Take 32E to 144S to the Park entrance. Keep going until you can't go anymore and you're there. Parking is somewhat limited at the campground; carpooling from the motel is strongly encouraged. Depending on the number of cars and the weather (the final bit to the campground isn't plowed and will be closed if it snows), some or all may need to park approximately a mile from the start. Be prepared to walk if necessary.

From St. Genevieve: Same as above, except you'll be taking 32W to 144S.

From St. Louis: I-55S to St. Genevieve, then 32W to 144S.

Lambert International

From Hawn: I-55N to I-70W. You can also go around the city by I-55N, I-270W, I-70E, but this really doesn't buy you anything on a weekend and you don't get to see the Arch.

Other motels

It's strongly recommended you stay either in Farmington or St. Genevieve to avoid the long-ish drive back to St. Louis Saturday night. Another option that's a bit more pricey, but quite pleasant, is to stay at one of the many Bed and Breakfasts in the area.

Camping

Hawn State Park provides basic and primitive camping. Most of the facilities will still be off for the winter. Contact the park for details and reservations. Note that all areas South and West of the main campground are quarantined for the meet.
